About Antonine Credit Union!
Antonine Credit Union, formerly known as Croy and Kilsyth Credit Union, was founded in 1981 and is a financial co-operative owned by its members. It was originally established by a group of friends around a coffee table in their living room, and has since developed into our modern-day service.
Like all credit unions, we are a community-based organization, owned by our members who regularly save and borrow with us and managed by the nominated and elected board of directors, voted in by them at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), along with a pool of volunteers and staff who support us with the day-to-day running of the organization. We are able to offer our members access to savings accounts and individually tailored, low-cost loans.
Our common bond has grown since 2022, and we are now able to accept new members from all across North Lanarkshire. Without losing sight of our overarching goal of helping people, we are here to help; it is never too late to save for a rainy day!
