To apply for a loan you must: 

  • Live or work within North Lanarkshire, or

  • be in the same household as an existing member 

If you are unsure whether you qualify for membership, please contact us and one of are team will be able to verify this for you. 

Before you proceed, please ensure that you have:

1) Proof of Address: Driving Licence, Utility Bill, Bank/ Credit Card  Statement, Council Tax Bill, Benefits/DWP Letter, Equifax Report

2) Proof of Identity: Passport, Driving Licence, Scottish Govt. Bus Pass,  Birth Certificate, Young Scot Card

You will be required to take a photograph of one document from list 1) and one document from list 2) and upload them to us during the application process.

The form will take approxamately 15 minutes to complete 

To apply for this loan you must have: 

  • No individual voluntary arrangements, debt relief orders or bankruptcies

  • an income of more than £500 per month

  • To apply you must be working or receiving Child Benefit, Universal Credit, Pension Credits or State Pension

    If you do are not working or receiving one of the above benefits your loan will be automatically declined. We may still carry out a credit check and this may reduce your credit score.

Important information

We cannot lend to you if you have a current Debt Relief Order are on a Debt management plan or are subject to an Individual Voluntary Arrangement or if you are an undischarged bankrupt.

Loans available to UK residents and over 18s only. Subject to status and meeting our lending criteria.

Checks may be made against Credit Referencing & Fraud Prevention Agencies. If we do this, a search will be registered against your credit record.

If your loan application is successful your information will be shared with these agencies.

We reserve the right to offer a different loan product/amount or to decline your application.
